Mr. Abdul-Aziz H. Al-Ageel is the Secretary General of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC). He assumed this current post in August 2010. The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) located in Doha, Qatar was founded in 1976 by the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) as a knowledge-hub and industrial investment promotion catalyst, for the purpose of industrial diversification and development within the GCC countries. Mr. Al- Ageel started his professional career path with the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) for 25 years of distinguished experience and track records of value-added accomplishments in Marketing, Communication and Administration Services management, where he held various managerial positions at the Co.’s headquarters in Riyadh and its offices in the United States and Turkey. Mr. Al Ageel has participated in several national and international workshops, seminars and conferences. |

The Ex-CEO of QPM joined Manateq in 2013 bringing with him over 17 years of wide-ranging work experience in the areas of engineering, project management and top level administration. Prior to being appointed CEO of QPM, he has also had relevant experience in formulating public policy as Manager of the Conservation and Energy Efficiency Department of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA). During such time, Mr. Al-Kaabi formulated conservation policies, strategies and rules in conformity with conservation laws, as well as promoted educational awareness for energy conservation in Qatar, ensuring compliance with international and GCC energy conservation guidelines.
Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development in the workplace, Mr. Al-Kaabi received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and another Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, both from the University of Miami in the USA. He then received his Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Houston in 2007. In his current capacity as CEO of Manateq, Mr. Al-Kaabi vows to push forward the company’s vision of supporting Qatar’s economic diversification and competitiveness strategy as contained in Qatar’s National Vision 2030 framework. |

Mr. Al-Khalifa holds an MBA from Qatar University, a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA), and has received several specialized diplomas from Harvard and Insead Universities. Before joining GOIC, Dr. Al Mulla was the director of the central department of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) in Qatar Petroleum for 12 years. Dr. Al Mulla’s management experience spanning more than 25 years during which he served from 2001 to 2004 as Vice Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation in addition to his work as general manager of the Department of Meteorology. Dr. Al Mullah is the first Qatari citizen to receive a bachelor degree in Professional Meteorology from St. Louis University in in 1986 and earned his masters and doctorate degrees from Boston University from 1992-1996. Khalid Mohamed Sultan Laram (51 Years Old) holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, USA. In 1985, after obtaining his degree, Mr. Laram joined Qatar Petroleum, where he held various positions over the past 28 years in which he was involved in North Field Development, Qatar Gas LNG Trains 1 and 2, the NGL-4 Project as the Project Manager, also became the Deputy General Manager of the Al-Khaleej Gas Project – Phase 1 and 2 and working his way up to Deputy CEO of Qatalum. Currently, Mr. Laram manages Qatalum’s financial activities, including finance and accounting issues. He covers the Supply Chain Group that includes marketing and sales, raw materials and logistics matters. Dr. Laila oversees the implementation of the five-year strategy and the annual plan in GOIC. Eng. Fatema Altajer holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, Qatar. Prior to her appointment as Engineering Researcher in the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), she worked as an intern petroleum engineer at Total E&P research center at Qatar (TRCQ) in the project of acid stimulation in carbonates. Additionally, she worked as a researcher at Texas A&M University in the project of oil artificial lifting which is one of the widely used Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) methods in the region. Currently, Eng. Fatema Altajer is involved in many studies such as manufacturing investment opportunity profiles (MIOPs) and sector studies, which are performed by GOIC, that require intensive technical research, trade data analysis, field visits in addition to writing detailed reports. |

In GOIC, Dr. Shadid is leading a team of industrial experts to selectively identifying, developing and promoting opportunities in a variety of industrial sectors in the Gulf countries. The function extends to guiding and monitoring the operational performance of industrial companies. As an industrial engineering assistant professor in KSU, Dr. Shadid prepared and improved existing and new graduate studies programs in areas of quality engineering and project management. Dr. Shadid took a lead position in King Abdullah Institute for Consulting and Research (KAI) in projects to develop and implement strategic plans for several Saudi government agencies .As a lead controls engineer in GM , Dr. Shadid led a team of engineering and IT professionals to develop an advanced and intelligent plant controls systems. |

His specializations as a Manufacturing Engineer are in Productivity Analysis, Energy Conservations and Waste Minimization Audits, Industrial Project Feasibility Evaluation, Industrial Project / Sector Research, Industrial Relations Management, International / Intra-Regional Industrial Coordination, Regional Market Reviews and Analysis, Project Identification and Industry-Profile Analyses, and Manufacturing Investment Opportunities Assessment.
Prior to his appointment as Engineering Consultant, he was Acting Director for Business Development and Marketing Department since September 2012. As he was in charge of promoting GOIC overall products and services. Before that Eng. Hazem had been appointed various leading positions within GOIC. As Eng. Hazem was a founding team member of two main program in GOIC: Industrial Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange Program (GOIC-SPX) and Industrial Technical Assistance Program (ITA).
Eng. Hazem Al-Anqar participated in the GCC Industrial Map Study in 2010 also, he did participated in a feasibility study implementation to set up Dubai SPX Unit in 2006. He Prepared and presented project profiles for a number of important industries to GOIC’s clients in the Arabian Gulf Countries. He organized, prepared technical materials and programs, and participated as a speaker at a numbers of awareness seminars, workshops, and conferences related to industrial development issues |

Dr. Mohammed Yousef Al Mulla is the Vice Chairman and CEO of Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) Q.S.C. and of Qatofin Limited Company. QAPCO is the pioneer in petrochemical production in the Middle East. Dr. Al Mulla joined QAPCO in 1988 and held strategic positions in the company. In 2007, he was appointed Vice Chairman and CEO. Under his leadership, the company achieved milestones in the fields of production, Qatarization process, sustainable development & research. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Industries Qatar (IQ), one of the largest publicly traded companies on the Qatar Exchange and he also sits on the Board of Qatofin and QAPCO. For his efforts to enhance Industry-‐Academia collaboration and to strengthen R&D partnerships, along with his dedication to further encourage and develop education amongst the youth, Dr. Al Mulla has been appointed to the Board of the College of the North Atlantic – Qatar and he sits on the Advisory Board of the College of Engineering at Qatar University. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States with in a BSc in electrical engineering in 1988. He earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration 1997 and a Doctorate in Engineering in 2007, both from Leicester University in the United Kingdom. |

Dr. Atif Elgozali, received his B. Sc. in Chemical Engineering from University of Khartoum, Sudan, M. Sc. & PhD in Chemical & Process Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague, Czech Republic. He is currently one of the international reviewers for “Journal of Polymer Engineering & Science, USA”; and “Peer Reviewer for Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) Program, Qatar Foundation”; Member of “Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) in USA” as well as Member of the “Sudanese Engineering Society”, and “Sudanese Engineering Council” in Khartoum, Sudan”. Prior to his appointment as Senior Engineering Expert at Industrial Investment Department at Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), he was the “Head of Plastics Engineering Department” at “Sudan University of Science and Technology in Sudan” for six years. Parallel to this Dr. Elgozali was a member of Plastics and Rubber Committee in Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization in Khartoum, Sudan for four years. Prior to his post in Sudan University of Science and Technology, Dr. Elgozali worked as Senior Research & Development Engineer at Kaucuk Synthetic Rubber Factory (now SYNTHOS Kralupy a.s.), in Kralupy nad Vltavou, Czech Republic for one year. Prior to that, Dr. Elgozali worked as Process Engineer at Pepsi Cola Factory at Khartoum, Sudan for one year after his graduation from University of Khartoum. |

Suleiman has held various senior positions in the Ministry of Oil and Gas in Oman as Director General of Planning and Projects Evaluation, Gas and Petroleum Industries, Acting CEO and Deputy CEO of Oman Gas Company and now he is an Engineering Consultant in the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting. While at GOIC, his work involves special studies related to energy and environment, industrial sectoral studies, manufacturing opportunities, potential for energy efficiency, renewable energy and waste management in the GCC. While at Oman Gas, he has successfully completed landmark gas projects, cross country gas pipelines, gas supply stations, takeover of operations of gas network and successful refinancing of Oman Gas Company Loan. At the Ministry of Oil and Gas , suleiman planned and executed multi-million dollar projects in the gas sector, developed five year economic plans, gas master plans and secured the interests of the government in various investment projects in Oil ,Gas, Refining, LNG and power. |

He attended serval Governmental workshops on PPP (Public Private Partnership) and Waste to Energy across the region to assist Governments in planning for a successful PPP Waste to Energy project. Currently with Quick Wins Mr. Gabr is working as a consultant for both public and private sectors on structuring PFI and PPP projects as well as structuring and raising debt/equity for industrial private sector start-ups. |
